The Russian newspaper Pro Gorod reports the first FD surgery in Yaroslavl.
The operation was performed yesterday on a five-year-old boy, who was diagnosed with proximal hip deficiency. The difference in the length of his legs reached 10 centimeters.
If the doctors had not operated on the child, the leg would have to be amputated.
Luckily the surgery was successful and, in 3-4 weeks, the child will be finally able to walk.
