Pega Medical is a medical device company that has dedicated the past 25 years to the development of pediatric orthopedic implants for deformity correction. Our corporate vision has always been to bring state-of-the-art technologies to the hands of surgeons for the treatment of childhood orthopedic diseases that interfere with normal growth or act as precursors to adult orthopedic conditions. However, as a not-only-for-profit corporation, our goal is also to provide patients in underdeveloped countries with access to orthopedic care.

Treatment available everywhere
Banking on our long experience of helping pediatric surgeons to treat bone malformations, we want to become a company that makes a real and durable difference for underprivileged children suffering from bone diseases around the world. How do we do that? By facilitating the provision of implants & training to surgeons in underdeveloped countries where our company has no distribution channels and by capitalizing on an extended network of organizations and individuals involved with rare bone diseases.
We sponsor along with other complementary partners (such as government, foundations and non competing companies) various development projects including teaching / training to help find / develop products, tools or ideas to solve a disease or illness.
Continuous source of funding to meet global needs (sustainability)
We believe that the best way to promote and assure the sustainability of our initiative is to have surgeons donate to their peers/friends the surgical material they need when going to underdeveloped countries on medical missions. To facilitate this peer-to-peer support, Pega Medical gives to each surgeon who registers in our CSR initiative (csr. voices@pegamedical.com) a VOICE (Virtual Orthopedic Implant Coin Exchange). Any surgeon using our devices will be able to obtain 1 VOICE for every implant purchased by their hospital. These VOICEs can be accumulated or donated to a cause in which a colleague is involved. For every 50 VOICEs that any specific mission gets, whether VOICEs come from a single donor or several donors who want to support their colleague, Pega Medical will donate on your behalf one implant to the selected cause. For every 150 VOICEs, Pega Medical will donate on your behalf an instrument set to the mission (otherwise it will be temporarily loaned).
We also encourage Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeons who are planning to join a mission overseas who may benefit from our devices to create an account by registering with our initiative (csr.voices@pegamedical.com). The mission will be pinned on our world map so their colleagues can choose which peer/friend they want to donate their VOICEs to.
