A 12-year-old boy from Gaza with brittle bone disease has been operated at King's College Hospital in Dubai.
With the assistance of the Little Wings Foundation, a UK-registered charity that works in partnership with the Al Jalila Foundation and with the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund, Dr. Sinclair was able to operate the child on both legs, implanting Fassier-Duval telescopic rods through the centre of both his upper and lower leg bones.
It is always great news when a child receives the best medical treatment possible. By aligning efforts from the community of Foundations, Specialized Surgeons, Hospitals and Industry, things happen! Kudos to Dr. Sinclair for leading this effort.
