Ochem Chukwudalu presented to Dr Emeka Izuagba after being diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta. Fractures were managed with casting until 4 years old, when Ochem had multilevel Kebab osteotomies with intramedullary femoral rodding with Rush nails for the femurs and a similar procedure for the tibia a year later.
With support from Ariel Dujovne of Pega Medical and Dr Jill Flanagan, the Rush rods were switched to Fassier-Duval Telescopic Rods for both femurs.
